Treating Knee Gout
Gout is a type of arthritis that specifically targets the joint, causing painful swelling. Gout usually occurs in men, although women also have a tendency to develop gout after menopause. Stick to your new diet to keep your knee gout under control; in fact, it would also be a good idea to keep up your new diet to prevent future attacks of gout.
If you are already suffering from gout in your knee joint, it would be a good idea for you to get rest and avoid moving the affected joints around as much as possible; this will only cause your knee more pain. You can also apply warm compress to ease the pain; just keep in mind that the swelling itself won’t subside until your joints and tissues are healed.
