You can do this by improving your lifestyle. Avoid food which is high in purine. It is also advised by many experts to lower the intake of too much seafood and meat. It would also help greatly if alcohol drinking is minimized. Other ways to improve your lifestyle other than modifying your diet is through exercise. Try to start exercising. If you are not really fond of this kind of activity, maybe it would help if you could find a buddy to do this with. There are also different kinds of exercise that you could get into so you wouldn’t feel bored with the usual activities.

The most important thing to remember when handling this type of condition is really to be conscious of your gout uric acid levels. If you feel that you are prone to acquiring gout, be more conscious with the food that you eat so that you can lessen your chances of experiencing gout-related pain.
